the music therapy hub isβ¦
a comfortable, accessible, fully-equipped music room suitable for a range of activities.
The music therapy hub is also an idea that stretches beyond the physical space.
As experienced music therapists and teachers, we want to support access to a spectrum of interactive music making opportunities that create and support community and wellbeing.
We are so excited to be creating the music therapy hub at the Longniddry Steading.

about philippa
I was Programme Leader of the MSc Music Therapy course at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, from 2013 - 2026.
Before this, my main area of work as a music therapist was in mainstream schools supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. Through this work, I established the first full-time music therapy post in a mainstream secondary school in England.
